Detox 
If
you are diagnosed as alcohol dependent and require assisted
detoxification, our Community Alcohol Treatment team (CAT) can help.
The CAT team is based at HAGA’s Resource Centre in Tottenham and is
active across the Haringey.
CAT provide assessment and facilitate detoxification treatments in the
community or through specialist inpatient services. The team is led by
nurses who offer comprehensive care planning and work with other
services in meeting each individual’s needs. A community
detoxification is coordinated through an individual’s GP and is carried
out with support from a significant other/carer and a CAT nurse in an
individual’s home.
