We’ve created eye catching campaign materials to promote the use of our innovative website DontBottleItUp and DrinkCoach app. The posters, banners and cards are designed in a friendly style to encourage people who may be drinking riskily to visit the website or download the app.Details
Alcohol is unique in its position as a legal drug in our society. ‘Low cost booze’ is promoted in every supermarket and drinking, even to excess, is widely seen as socially acceptable. However, as health and social care providers we see the fallout from this daily and experience first hand the problems with health and alcohol dependency that result.
We’ve been campaigning to change widely held views about drinking since our formation in 1981 and we can help you to raise awareness of the risks of drinking in your field.
We can tailor campaigns to target specific groups, and plan, deliver and monitor the entire campaign on your behalf.
Specifically, our approach is thus:
Carry out local needs assessment and analyse data.
Determine project scope through consultation with target groups.
Desktop research of impact and similar campaigns.
Project plan and deliver the campaign.
Evaluate outcomes and produce a final evaluation report.
Examples of HAGA’s campaign work
We’ve promoted free drinks in a nightclub and started conversations about alcohol during freshers’ week. Our campaign work goes right into the heart of the issue.
