Mark Holmes, Telehealth Coordinator at HAGA, the alcohol action charity, on why technology may offer more people the support they need to make changes to their drinking.Details
Throughout our work we’ve learnt that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work, whether in treating an individual, or producing a new service to work within a health or social care setting.
When you commission us, we take the time to ensure that you get a service that will work in your local area
Every project is different, but these are typical phases:
Initial meetings to gain understanding of requirements.
Desktop research and scoping.
Assessment of needs and analysis of local data.
Service development, including help with specification and monitoring requirements.
Implementation, launch and service delivery.
Service monitoring and end of project evaluation.
If you have a service in mind, or would like to discuss how HAGA can develop one for you, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
Examples of commissioned services
Below are examples of services we’ve developed, some of which, like DrinkCoach and DontBottleItUp are stand alone products that you can purchase to include in your local authority or setting. Further examples are specific posts that have enhanced existing healthcare practices, and may give you ideas on how you could implement something similar to improve alcohol intervention and treatment provision in your local area with HAGA’s support and guidance.
